KCAA Middle School Program uses the DPS Scope and Sequence and foundational curriculums to design comprehensive project based units. At KCAA we align learning to the Common Core State Standards and Colorado Academic Standards using Arts Integration and 21st Century Skills as the method for delivering high quality, rigorous instruction.
In addition to the core academics of reading, writing, math, science and social studies KCAA middle school students are also offered visual arts, dance, drama, technical theater instrumental and vocal music, digital media arts, photography and technical literacy throughout the year.
KCAA is preparing students for college and career in a global economy. We know that access to technology is key to preparing students for diverse learning and working environments and all KCAA students benefit from 1:1 tech device access.
